============================================================= Kekkaishi (½Y½çŽŸ?, lit. "Barrier Master") is an ongoing supernatural manga series by Yellow Tanabe. It is serialized in Japan by Shogakukan in the manga magazine Sh¨nen Sunday, and licensed for an English release in North America by Viz Media. It was adapted as a fifty-two episode anime series by Sunrise, which was broadcast between October 2006 and February 2008. The series is about Yoshimori Sumimura and Tokine Yukimura, heirs to rival clans of kekkai (barrier magic) users, who must defend their school from the spirits drawn to the sacred land upon which it is built. Kekkaishi received the 2007 Shogakukan Manga Award for sh¨nen manga. Story 51 "Yoshimori and Kaguro" May 21, 2011 "Yoshimori to Kaguro" (Á¼ÊؤȻðü) January 28, 2008 As the final showdown between Yoshimori and Kaguro continues, Sen enters the battle to help Yoshimori. Sensing that Sen is in danger, Yoshimori instinctively unleashes his Shinkai. Although Kaguro is defeated, Yoshimori loses consciousness in the process, trapping both Sen and himself within his very own Zekkai. Although Masamori and the others arrive, they are left helpless.
